We help busy Charlotte parents of young kids figure out what’s worth doing this weekend — nearby, not a scroll of everything happening in a 50-mile radius.

Who it’s for. Mostly littles (about 0–5). Kids 6–10 show up too. Every outing and place gets an age label so you can skip what doesn’t fit your crew.

How the weekend list works. Each Thursday we publish a short plan for the weekend ahead. Options are sorted by effort, not by how far they are from Uptown:

• Around the corner — neighborhood stuff: a park, a branch library, a storytime.
• Metro — worth crossing town: a festival, a fair, a destination museum.
• Road trip — farther, still doable in a day (up to about three hours).

How we pick places. We look for spots you’d actually take a stroller or a toddler — parks, gardens, libraries, farms, indoor rainy-day stops. We check official pages and local calendars. We don’t invent hours, prices, or “open today” claims. If something’s uncertain, we say so or leave it out.

Where we cover. Default is within about an hour of Charlotte. Special weekends and road trips stretch farther. Place pages are tagged by area so you can stick to your corner of town.

Your privacy. We count visits and which outings get clicked so we know what’s useful. That’s it: no cookies, no ads, no personal information, and nothing is sold or shared. Our counter runs on our own server, and it skips you entirely if your browser has “Do Not Track” turned on.
